Young Children 2-5 Health Articles

When it comes to decide proper food for your children ranging from 2-5, you should be very clear that no one food group will provide the required energy to your kids. They need almost everything at this age. They have a very fast metabolism and they can digest all types of foods very easily apart from fat. An estimated amount of food that a healthy child of age group 2-5 requires is :

3-5 ounces from grain group.
1.5 cups from vegetable group
1.5 cup from the fruits group
2 cups from the milk group
2-4 ounces from the meat group.
